(Note: Although salvia is legally sold in my country as an incense, I cannot stress enough the seriousness of possessing or obtaining the substance in regions where it is illegal. Play it safe please!
)
I recently obtained salvia from a local smoke shop. I was given a gram of leaf which was basted in 60x extract, so there was about 120mg of Salvinorin-A contained in the gram, give or take what was present on the leaf itself.(May not have been a totally accurate measurement, because it was commercially packaged.) Me and two friends were prepared to take the plunge into this new world. A bunch in our group had smoked salvia and majority agreed that it was a waste of time, a bad trip, and stupid. Well I beg to differ! While waiting for the bus I couldn't help it any longer, so I whipped out my pipe and instantly smoked a large hit with a bit of Lush on top (Does THC affect the high at all? I am not sure if it potentiated what I should have felt or dumbed it. :S)
All I can say is that before salvia I was unable to say I was high in the literal sense, but with this amazing new friend of mine I can now say just that. It literally felt like I was lifted up by a giant and put upon his shoulders. I felt the most amazing and rejuvinating sense of vertigo! "On top of the world" is the only phrase I can use to fully describe my feeling. I knew somehow that I was looking up at buildings, and the cars were eye leve, but they felt so far below me! My friend had visuals I think, Apparently the horizon was "rolling back on itself?" and he said he thought at one point that he was a slot machine.
My second time smoking this amazing substance was in one of the parks around my house on top of a hill. I wanted to go back, so I packed my pipe full of just the oiled leaf and smoked it to ashes, and instantly packed another one(Does a bong accent the high better?)It was Dusk by now and the purple on the horizon grew to give the whole world a slightly purple hue. I felt a tingling begin in my right middle fingertip and slowly work its way up my arm, over and around my head, to stop at my left middle fingertip. This was scary for me at first because the tingling was literally cutting through my body(So to speak) I was beginning to panic but then decided the best thing would be to accept it. Once I did that I noticed the tingling was a black, energy/smoke type substance, which was bordering my body on a two dimensional level. When I looked to either side of me, the silhouette was repeated end over end into the distance, and all around me there was just feild (even though the park was in the middle of a suburb.)It was amazing how linear the shadows were. After that I came to because my friend was laughing at me. The whole trip lasted about three minutes. I am definitely going to try this again on my own, in a comfortable, secluded location so me and salvia can get to know eachother on a more personal level.
All in all... I really enjoyed it
