Hi guys.
I was just wondering what the legal status of Sally in Australia was.
I heard that in some states of Aus it was prohibited but in others it was not.
Since 2002, Salvia divinorum and salvinorin A have been designated Schedule 9 of Australia’s Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Drugs and Poisons (SUSDP).
I've never read of anyone arrested for importing it, but when people attempt to have it shipped into the country customs often intercepts it. There are people in Australia's ethnobotanical community who grow the plant... and that's really the only safe way to get it. It's an innocuous enough looking plant, so if you get a cutting from someone who grows it, you're not apt to run into any trouble growing it yourself.
