Scraping Fluffies

Hello all,

My friend George did some extractions and he uses a not-too-large stainless spatula to scrape the fluffies out.

After scraping the jars there are always crystals left which he can't get scraped out, sometimes he uses a little brush to get the last lose ones out. He then collects the remaining crystals with IPA (which gives it a urine look to it). He then uses that to make changa.

My question is shouldn't he clean the urine first before soaking in his herbs? if so how what would be the best method?

And what are your methods/tools to scrape/collect the fluffies?

You shouldn't have to clean the urine looking IPA as long as the pulls were clean to begin with.

The excess is probably just some oxides and a maybe a little bit of plant fat. Adding this directly to some herbs is about the best thing you could do.

I usually use a razor to scrape everything up but I'd rather switch to some sort of spatula like you have there.
