I'm pretty sure STS is not run on the highest tech platform, but this is getting ridiculous.

Its a shame. It feels like the responsible person doesn't know its down.

One could use services like UptimeRobot: Free Website Monitoring Service to get a message when the server is offline.

At the worst we could all just invade the shaman-australis corroboree or the nook with our STS user names and go there any time STS goes down
I think new user verification at the corroboree still takes a few days to discourage bots, so the nook might be better.

The Nook sometimes has user registration issues too, but good idea. We'll need to post a thread on STS to suggest this.

Inquiries have been made through back channals to get the STS train rolling again.

Nope, no way for us to access the server. we will have to wait till the server manager/owner has time to inspect things.
