Sharing Various extraction results with CYB'S TEK(pics!)

Been using Cybs tek ever since it was suggested by a fellow member. First extraction didn't work so good, i estimate its because i overheated. But every one afterwards has gone spectacular. I have scaled up the tek to do 200g MHRB in a 1 gallon glass wine jug achieving 1.5-2% yeilds!

Here is some random pics from my extractions! Proud to be here and thankful to all those who helped me and guided me in my way of discovering my love for this craft. DIY is so much better!!!

It's a hybrid tek but we have no Hybrid subforum so it lives in the STB section as that is how the tek is skewed...I will move it to the STB section for you.:thumb_up:

Was really stoked to see (and then vape) them lol
the two last dmt pics(the white crystal pics) were each a pic of the first pull from two separate extractions and those crystals formed in solution without even needing a freeze precipitation!! I froze anyways to see if any more would crash out but only a miniscule amount fell out in the freeze
The first pic of white crystals in large clumps weighed 0.750g
And the second pic of white crystals weighed 0.910g

Stoked on this! Time to order more mhrb lol!

Looking good. How come a lot of people have beige/reddish waxes from this tek? Is it from ACRB?

I guess I know the reason now. It's cause of the temperatures used, were way to high. At least in my case.

I asked cyb about how hot his "hot" water bath should be. He said about 40°C. That's waaaay less than I used. I'd call that a warm water bath.

Yeah like Cyb says's in his Tek, you need to be able to handle the glass, if not then its simply too hot...

Just finished a 100g extraction of MHRB using Cyb's ION Tek.

Was great using a cold fan for the first time, after 20mins the crystals were dry and fluffy.

I have a second pull in the freezer which i'm about to remove and hit with the fan.

I have some great seed crystals now, so will keep them for the next extraction.

I really don't recommend eyeballing, as it is often extremely inaccurate. The density of DMT crystals can vary tremendously. I have had batches of which I could fit >3g in a 2 dram vial, and other batches of which I could only fit about 1.5g in the same 2 dram vial. Milligram scales are a DMT-explorer's best friend.

These crystals are from my seconds pulls from the extract. They formed much different than the first pull, maybe the dish being narrower caused this to happen?
They came out much larger with a more defined structure.

Yield so far is just over 900mg.

The difference in appearance could be because the solvent was either more thoroughly saturated, it was cooled at a slower rate, or both. They sure do look purdy!

Yeah they look pretty cool thank you, the overnight decant really helped remove a lot more of the sediment i couldn't remove the day before, plus i defatted also.

I've done a search and couldn't find any other thread of this type , so I'd like to start a thread specifically for acacia confusa using the max-ion TEK ,
so I hope if we have a common place ( this thread ) to share results and compare notes and start posting pics of our product in hope to help each other , so let's start sharing , we all keep learning till the day we die , so let's not waste a second and let's get cracking !:thumb_up:
