Shelf-life of Mimosa hostilis?

A friend of mine got some Mimosa root bark about 2 years ago and never gotten around to using it. He is assuming the root bark is still good, but wants to get a second opinion. Thanks

SWIM would go for it, if it has been stored properly (no light, heat, humidity), all should be good.

My friend has some ground MHRB that has been sitting, wrapped in the plastic it was purchased in, in his freezer for over two years. He didnt do it on purpose, it was just overlooked. Stashed just as you would if it was mushrooms, anyhow it still worked just as you would expect. Hope your friend kept his in the freezer.
