Here is a photo of swims first extraction last year.He used the marsofold tek and had fantastic results.He doesn't remember exactly how much he got out of the pound he extracted.He was really happy with the results.He will post pics of his latest extraction soon. very nice, I love the second photo aoxoa.I still have yet to try the marsofold's tek.I prefer to use muratic acid as it takes less time heating to convert all of the DMT to it's salt form.Also never really seen the need for an ammonia wash but I have talked to people who swear by it.

Swim evaporated first and then recrystalized using naptha.Swim says on his next extraction he will recrstalize using heptane. 8)

yeah that way works swim just evaporates and gets pretty fat crystals

Here's a before and after pic of an extraction SWIM did a while back. the before pic was after initial freeze precipitation. the naptha was washed with water and sodium carbonate and then water and sodium bicarbonate and an epsom dry was performed. the after pic is after a recrystallization/slow evaporation using heptane. for some reason, it looks better than it is. the effects were simply not as good as an extraction he did previously where he just did the basic marsofold tek and an ammonia wash on the crystals. He has since done another xtraction using the basic marsofold tek, no solvent washes just an ammonia wash of the crystals, but has yet to try the result and doesnt have any pics. based on his new extraction he has decided that washing the solvent is not really necessary if the naptha separation is done carefully. before even washing the crystals with ammonia they pass a flame test (meaning that there is no lye present)

Those look nice Angrygolfer.Swim has never done a recrystalization with heptane although I would like to in the near future.Swim needs to find a source where he lives or order some off the net.Swim has an extraction in the freezer right now that was done using the marsofold tek will post pics soon.Peace. 8)

heptane can be purchased online and in art supply stores under the brand name "bestine". But if you cant get heptane, naptha works just as good and will probably give you larger crystals. shards start dropping out of heptane almost as soon as it cools to room temperature. with naptha they seem to form slower, and the slower they form the bigger they get to be honest, I wouldnt bother unless you have a shitload to work with. alot of people seem to think the yellow or orange impure stuff is better than highly pure white stuff. Not sure why this is but Ive read it from quite a few people. SWIM has high hopes for his latest extraction that yeilded slightly yellow sparkly crystals... looks pretty much exactly like your pic on the last page. Maybe He will try some tomorrow right before mycotopia went down there was a thread where someone did an extraction of a little over a kilo and got a ridiculously huge yeild. something like 15g. they evaporated it first and got some HUGE crystals with alot of yellow stuff. they recrystallized and freeze precipitated and had a gigantic pile of freezer precipitated snowy stuff. most impressive DMT pics I have ever seen. I suggested they recrystallize and slow evaporated half of it to get huge crystals but the site went down. hopefully they will join this site or mycotopia comes back soon so I can see the pics.
