Sally said:The way we conduct ourselves around others and how they interpret that is what defines us to other people. Communication and the words we choose are very important, since others do not have access to our feelings, attitude and heart unless we tell them. So what do people have to go on when they make a judgement about us? What we choose to show them through our language; verbal and physical e.g. body language.
The whole point of verbal communication is to intentionally convey meanings to other people. It is more than just talk, words or noise.

Of course I agree to a level, It's healthy to be respectfull towards others and have a good attitude, I just meant specifics such as slangs, etc. Everyone has a dialect, most have their own slangs and the english language itself varies greatly from place to place. I would refrain from judging someone based on the way they speak, though I guess on an internet forum it's all we have, which is why I don't take this too seriously, it's not human. I'm different in real life.
The point I'm trying to make is perhaps to 'judge' people based on the content of what they are trying to put across, not how they say it. A very wise person may use a lot of profanity, yet still have a great integrity and compassion for others. If people want to get offended by the odd silly word here and there, they have some growing up to do.
Penis.
