Solidifying

does anybody have any tips on solidifying the powder short of recrystalization I know it involves heating but i dont want it to get to hot and ruin it i was thinking of double boiling all suggestions welcome

You could put in a shotglass, heat up in a hotwater bath till the powder melts, and then take it out and allow it to cool...should form a nice rock of dmt.

I don't think so. If you do that, it should form either an oily clump of yellow DMT, or a pool of yellow oil.

What you described is almost exactly the process Delafonze19 describes to turn pure white DMT into a yellow oxidation product thereof. He discovered it attempting a "dry" recrystallization, as you suggest. On the other hand, he reports that the yellow spice or yellow oil it produces is subjectively much more enjoyable than the white spice.

The method is decribed in my Jungle Spice writeup, Section III.4. Currently it's a bit sparse, but SWIM definitely plans to try some of this stuff out next time he extracts.

redissolving it in a little drop of hot naphtha maybe?and then let it evaporate ....

anybody else with any ideas i know i have seen solid un recrystalized swim evan made it once with a bindle in his pocket and standing to close to the campfire?o just wondering who acctually uses that technique

I meant you mealt it and then put it in the freezer
THis gives you a hard clump

I have done the melt down on my spice. It does form a chunky soild similar to crack. At first it would not turn back into a solid, but 5 minutes in the freezer fixed that up. I find it is a little more potent (and much, much denser) than glass shard spice. Mine did not turn yellow at all.
