Some Infused Leaf Issues

So SWIM's extraction went fine and dandy (Marsofold/ThirdEyeTek with a couple minor adjustments of SWIM's own) and SWIM ended up with around 1.5g of spice from 250g MHRB. White and powdery; sparkley; but no large xtals.

Moving on, SWIM is trying to recreate a wonderful blend of infused leaf SWIM had experienced in the past of 1:1 Pau D'arco:Spice

SWIM takes a shot glass and puts in 50mg of spice, followed by a cap-full of 91% isopropyl alcohol, agitates, and waits until it is fully dissolved. SWIM then adds in the 50mg of Pau D'Arco. SWIM then allows it to evaporate. After evaporation, SWIM noticed that the spice had merely recrystallized on the bottom of the shot glass, and didn't infuse into the spice whatsoever (to confirm this, the Pau D'Arco was weighed afterward and came out at 50mg again.

Whatever should SWIM do? Should SWIM increase the amount of Pau D'Arco to allow more vegetative matter for the spice to attach to? Should SWIM decrease the amount of isopropyl?

If you infuse a leaf which contains no MAOI then strictly speaking this is infused leaf as opposed to changa.

I use warmed-up 99% IPA for making changa and its always worked perfectly.Maybe this could be your problem, but I think there are other Nexians more qualified than me to advise you.

SWIM doubled the amount of Pau D'Arco and used about half the amount of ISO, and it seemed to fix SWIM's issue. Thanks Corpus.

Haven't tried it myself yet but everything I've come across seems to recommend doing the evap in a flat bottom dish as opposed to in a shot glass. Perhaps try this along with your reduced iso.
