Stb naptha calcium hydroxide tek???

Could anyone please explain this tek in the simplest form possible? So i would add 50/50 ratio of cal. Hyd. Let it sit for a while ( ill fo like a full day or so stirring and what not) then add naptha and how long should i wait to pull? Should i do more than one ? How does a freeze prec. Work? Thanks

Calcium hydroxide extraction is basically the same as an extraction that uses Lye. Just follow those procedures using the Ca(OH)2 in place of the Lye.

Read the link smokerx gave you. Teks such as q21q21 and amorfati will use calcium hydroxide. Also please read the FAQ, you ask a lot of questions that are very basic and with a bit of reading you can find the answer to.

Kash is incorrect though about calcium hydroxide, its poorly soluble in water so if you want to use it, do a dry tek instead of an a/b, dont just substitute it for lye.

Oh wow that suprises me. I know that it isnt that soluble but I read that a saturated solution of lime water has a ph of 12.4.
