I don't see entities. I wouldn't put my boot anywhere if I did see 'em, but I still don't. I believe Dr. Strassman's studies showed that a percentage (20% maybe? can't remember for sure) saw or felt entities of some sort. Not always pleasant ones either- remember Ken?

Not everybody sees entity's all the time. Some people never see them at all. I sometimes see them and sometimes i don't. I also don't bother much with them on évery ocassion i see them. Sometimes i just leave them because there are other things that draw my attention.
This thread has been a bit of a funny one. I've learned that psychedelics aren't in any way, shape or form, transformative for all people, AT ALL.
On the alien life front, I'm sorry but I think you have to be either incredibly naive or incredibly arrogant to believe with conviction that we are alone in all this. Lets say, as a very rough estimate, that there are 100 million stars in our galaxy, and 100 million galaxies in the known universe, with the possibilities of multiverses and other dimensions...I mean just do the maths.
I think one would have to have a very blinkered view on things to not even allow for the possibility of life elsewhere. I mean if we are alone in all this, then that is even more amazing! The religious nutters may be on to something...
However, I'm very sceptical as to whether aliens have visited our planet, and when I smoke DMT, I don't see any entities or aliens. I one encountered an octopus on mushrooms, but do I think that it was an alien? No. I think it was a complex and fascinating mental projection, due to a severe aberration of normal brain chemistry. And I guess this is my view on these phenomena until I experience otherwise.

Given that there is an infinite space or spaces and by definition, planets that harbor life must be finite, we are looking at an infinite number of potential planets that could be inhabited and a finite number of planets that are actually inhabited. Seriously though, not much use in speculating on this, that's what scifi authors are for. Chances are good that if it hasn't happened yet, it's not going to happen in your lifetime. And if it does, I'm thoroughly convinced that some amalgamation of scifi literature and film is going to set the tone for how we handle it. So if you're really concerned with the matter, write a book or a screenplay.
Otherwise all we could do in the meantime is strive to make mankind as capable as possible, which we should doing regardless of the possibility of alien contact. But still, if it helps to consider the possibility of extra-terrestrials, gods, ancestors or what have you in order to imagine our embarrassment at our immense shortcomings to date, so be it, but I prefer to consider how future generations will look upon us.

Two members of my family who live in Texas were assaulted from behind and severely beaten and robbed. They were never asked to give up there money they would have agreed they were "Sucked Attached from behind" One of them suffered permanent brain damage and lost the sight in his right eye. I will not specify the race or immigration status of the four PUNKS who did this to them . But I will say they had no legal right to be in the USA. Three of them were minors and the other had just turned eighteen.
This also inspired me go get my legal permit to carry a concealed weapon.

But do you not see how violence begets violence? Something violent happened to someone you love and now you want to perpetrate violence on others as a result. What were the causes that led to them attacking your family? What were the circumstances? What happened in the perpetrators past that caused them at that moment to attack your family? I don't like racism. I don't like those who embrace it, I don't like those who espouse it, and I don't like it polluting this place. I tend to fight dirty. If that offends (and I know that it does) then I apologize to the group. It was aimed at someone whose publicly stated point of view is (to my way of thinking) disgusting.
I meant to offend - so the truth is that I'm probably not quite as sensitive as you'd maybe believed. I just don't like seeing people who are already downtrodden to begin with, then scapegoated and demonized because of race and economic factors beyond their control.
