Switching from q21q21 tek to cybs

Hi!

I have been struggling for a while to get any decent yield (only yielded less than 0.2%) with both of q21q21's teks and have decided to try out cyb's hybrid stb tek.

Cyb's seems a lot more promising and my current batch has quickly become cloudy (Never happened with q21's) once it hit the freezer with some small crystals already forming within 20 minutes.

I have no idea what went wrong with q21q21's tek but I think the lime might not have been basifying it enough. My problem now is that I have around 90g of bark that was prepared with this q21 and I would like to still use the bark. Is it possible to switch teks? Could I simply follow the same ratios as cybs originally calls for or should I go with something else?

Thanks

If the problem is not basified enough, Could you try to add some lye to the Q21 mixture? what's your ph at the moment ?

I tried to ass lye at the end of a Q21Q21 esxtract to see if i could get more yield... i'm not sure it made a difference on the last pull, as i had probably pulled out most of the goodies, it's hard to tell.

Yea that might work actually. Q21Q21 said that the tek cannot be used with lye but also said that it may actually work if anyone ever wanted to test it. I guess this would be a better route to go rather than going from drytek to wet as lime is not very soluble in water. Also, I don't have any ph strips so no way of telling.

Could anyone else with more experience chime in?
