Syrian Rue and Strattera Interaction?

I've found varying sources say to go off Strattera anywhere from 6 weeks prior and 4 weeks afterwards of taking ayahuasca (http://thewayinn.com/safety-guidelines), to 5 days prior and no mention of afterwards (Stratera and Ayahuasca - Ayahuasca Forums).

I'm looking for reputable sources to answer this question, and ideally an explanation about why.

One source said "STRATTERA should not be taken with an MAOI, or within 2 weeks after discontinuing an
MAOI. Treatment with an MAOI should not be initiated within 2 weeks after discontinuing
STRATTERA." I think the 2 weeks number may come from the time it takes with pharmaceutical irreversible MAOIs to regenerate the body's MAO enzymes, which may not be relevant for Syrian Rue which is a RIMA and takes I think about 12 hours to wear off.

There seems to be conflicting information within the minimal amount of information I could even find on this.

^^The source quoted above matches the advice in the product monograph for atomoxetine (Strattera) which makes no distinction between MAOI types.Its use in ADHD can take a couple of weeks to become fully apparent and relates to its effects on the presynaptic norepinephrine transporter, an effect which lingers for a time after atomoxetine has been discontinued and reflects the important concept that pharmacological and pharmokinetic half-lives do not always match. This also is supposed to make this a less abusable agent than other compounds used in treating this condition. Its metabolism is largely dependant on CYP 2D6, and this can vary from 5-20 hours depending on the phenotypic expression of this enzyme.

The potential risk with MAOIs and Strattera is a hypertensive crisis and on occasion a picture similar to neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
