This (great) paper has been discussed recently over in this thread.

It's good to know that each segment of TBM equates to about one dose. In that respect, it's lucky that brewster 'only' tried 227g/four segments and didn't rush in on Wolfie's suggestion of 500 grams!

What VDS' analysis does show is that there's ample activity in the cactus from mescaline alone without having to invoke the presence of MAOI action from other components, even if they do perhaps play a role sometimes.

Whoa. I think what I meant to say was: Just because mescaline seems to be relatively forgiving as far as dosage goes doesn't mean you should charge off willy-nilly and gobble up half a kilo of some untested variety of Bridgesii. You could end up in the ER doing stuff like that. :oops:
 
Also following with much interest. Especially because of the MESQ article

Maybe I going to fast, but I have a feeling or maybe it's my own hope, but not scientific.

That TBM B = equal or same bridgesii short form, that comes from different sources and which is just a mutation that pretty common but is consistently very high in potency that easily beats all other san pedro's (other the TBM A, the real penis plant, that comes from a single clone and is more of an collectors item).

This should be confirmed with more tests, (or is there info that it varies and some are weak? and only one or more particular clones are potent)

If it true that it is consistently high, then we don't have to test anymore and looking for other cacti (production wise, I mean, not If you collect them because you want different species because you think it's beautifull)

On reddit there are different theories about potency: because it keeps termination it's own growth it stresses the plant which cause it tom produce more mescaline, also bigger surface, next there is almost no inner core, it's basically just green outer layer.

Even if it slows grower, there is grafting method, called "dick on a stick" and just impales adult cacti instead of grafting young seedlings. So I have a vision that I impale the TBM B from all sides and it grows to an enormous bush (you google TBM B and look for some pictures and see what I mean)

My theory is then, if it grows more arm that make's new pups exponentially, even a 13ft Ogun can't compete.

Please let my dream come true (that this short form is a common mutation from different sources but always insainly potent), then delete this thread and let's keep it a secret before all is sold out haha.
