Well-made with a good presentation from just skimming through it. Covers many bases with plenty of photos. Though overall, SWIM'd say this is more of a tek with some of the makings of a handbook than a true handbook. A handbook would have to be somewhat open-ended and all-inclusive. For example, it doesn't include the use of sodium-carbonate or of bubbler-pipes, which many on the site would contend are potentially the future of DMT.

Still, this will be incredibly helpful for those still using A/B techniques. It just needs to be readily identifiable as more of a tek/handbook than a handbook.

Great work! I love the pictorial and the fact that it has just enough hard science to be valuable, yet not so much as to confuse the newbie.
If I can make a suggestion for a future update: I am intrigued by 69ron's Zn-reduction process, in which an A/B extraction is mandatory, in a way. That would make a great addition, especially for all the folks who have to make do with sub-standard MHRB from time to time.

Thanks again for this!

Very very nice! Glad someone took the time to meticulously document each step.

Yeah, along with Zn reduction process....swim would just suggest adding a whole section on the N-Oxides (the CaCO3 method of smoking it).

Sodium Carbonate would also be a good alternative to present, since lye can be so dangerous.

Great work,
E.C.

Excellent work! Great little guide with tons of information.

I knew something like this was in the pipes just didn't know who would be the one to produce it.

Golden PDF File!!!

Some very nice info!!

I'm a complete noob and the addition of pics is a really nice touch. Too many Tek's that i have read over the past couple of months have none. And as is said they really are worth a thousand words.

Still think i'm gonna go STB tho.

Peace, tps :)

Thanks for the comments guys

Agreed that it's not as comprehensive as it could be. In future i'd especially like to add the Zn reduction from n-oxide back to the freebase, as well as a re-ABing step for use with green material.

There are ongoing developments in the area of extractions, with FASA STB and alternative bases coming to mind, but this I think is a good start at least with plenty of usable information

I still think it warrants the handbook title though 8)

Ok, yes, it is definitely a handbook. Just not as a comprehensive as SWIM's ideal would be. You put it better than SWIM, Coschi. It's still incredibly well-made and groundbreaking. SWIM's just not as excited as he would like to be, considering he's broken with most of techniques and methods detailed within the handbook. SWIM's a tad biased.

However, SWIM loves that it introduces the FASA method, as it's incredibly accessible to the mainstream.

Keep up the good work!

Fantastic guide!!! Many thanks for this, just what I have been searching for.

It would be great to include some sort of table with different chemical measures when using larger/smaller amounts of MHRB/other plant material, for example 100g etc. I know that's just laziness on my part but it could eliminate mistakes.

keep up the efforts, they are most appreciated! :p

My main gripe, and it's a BIG one, is that the dosages recommended are extremely high for some people.

The pharmahuasca section is recommending 100-200 mg of DMT with 150 mg of MAOI. 200 mg would be a SEVERE OVERDOSE FOR SWIM, possibly killing him from a heart attack. It think that section is irresponsible. SWIM can barely handle 40 mg of DMT orally. 50 is a breakthrough dose for SWIM. 100 would be way too much. 200 might be fatal for SWIM. If it didn’t kill SWIM he’d black out for sure. That’s a dangerous amount for some people.

That's strange

I've dosed 120mg of very pure freebase crystals straight up with 5grams of rue, equating to at least 200mg of harmaloids, and found that to be a comfortable level for a nice 5-6 hour trip (three rounds)

3 grams of rue and 2 x 50mg doses spaced half an hour apart was barely threshold. Also tried 200mg of moclobemide with 2 x 50mg doses in the same manner and likewise little to no effect

Eitherway, heart attack is not a risk as far as I know, i've never heard mention of heart attack with regards to dmt ever before.. high dose in my experience just lead to a highly immersive experience, only drawback is the possibility of some nausea
