The GVG mouth piece offset

To all LEFTIES out there (left handed) Like I

The mouth piece is set to an angle for a right handed person to use, kinda annoying for us, when trying to light.
Altho this didnt stop one purchasing this for ornamental values.

I do not believe that my GVG is offset. It is symmetrical in every way that I can think of to check. Post a pic and I will confirm if your GVG was mis-manufactured... (or maybe I'm a doofus)

If you look at the hole in the mouthpiece you can see it's at a small angle, rotated to the left. Maybe this is what L_Star means?

I've got two GVG's and they are different from each other at a few points. Take a look at these images to see what I mean.

Well, they are handcrafted, I believe. Variations like these would be the result of an individual glass blower producing art. Also, Trav, what is your couch made of?? That's not hemp fiber is it??? Hmmm, I thought it was on first glance, now I'm not so sure, the real zoomed in pictures cast some doubt on that.
