The Journey Before the Journey

Migrated topic.

TwoRue

Rising Star
Hello to all, thank you for taking the time to read.

I am a relatively inexperienced traveler. I have drank ACRB/Syrian rue brews on about a ten occasions, of varying strengths. But I noticed something very peculiar that doesn't seem to make sense, at least physically.

My "trip" tends to start before I actually drink the brew. Every time I've sipped it, I start getting CEV's at least a couple days before drinking, even with no other entheogenic/psychadelic use. Also my whole perception of reality starts to change. I think about things differently, and I start feeling very stoned.

Has anyone else ever experienced this? How could it be possible that I start feeling DMT-related effects before actually drinking the Acacia? Or is it all in my head?

Thanks!

Yeah you're not alone, there's many i've seen here to where it was similar [hours, days prior]. After you've had a few decent experiences with some form of tryptamine/beta carb admixture brew [even just one good one] that 'can' set the stage for you and your sensitivity to the experience, that's what i'd found with it at least. This can be said for any sort of tryptamine-based experience. For example all the times i've brewed, during the brew process my headspace would change dramatically [thoughts, well-being, CEVs,OEVs], just the vapors and being with the brew nearly the whole time brought me into this. Even say the day before smoking DMT, which can feel markedly different from all previous days in terms of headspace and reality itself.

I think there's alot to be said for ritual, leading up to the experience. I also think memories can be more powerful than we credit them, and the ritualized pattern we would perform before the experience [whatever that may be to you], mixed with the olfactory system, sight, touch - this all can be incredibly powerful to the mind, and start to bring it all out' before the experience even starts. The ability of the human being to adapt and rebuild, especially within the ritual leading up to drinking/smoking, I think can be completely psychedelic.

TwoRue its happend to lots of people!

the thing is your consciousness knows it gonna have a dimensional experience
and it link, connect to that parallel reality that your already in the spirit realm.
its like a de ja vu, when you experience in the present a moment that in the future.

in fact when you imagine and feel the feeling that you have under any influence,
the mind act like its you take them, no matter if you experience it the same or not,
the fact that the feeling the same means the mind acting like your under the influence.

there is some science research about athlete that put in mri's and other body measurements
and they tell to the athlete to imagine that the do there sport activities and they
found out that the brain sand electrical pulse to the muscle JUST LIKE IN THE REAL ACTIVITIES!!!
so when your imagine and feel that you take spice your brain release spice just like when you smoke or drink it!!!

one example that i have in my personal live is in the day that i have my first aya seremony
in the morning of it i did my reiki session just like every day but in this session
i see a jaguar witch is one of the 2 common animal spirits that you see in aya
and i was completely sober when doing the reiki session.

the fact you notice it mean you consciousness are open and that is only the start of
the "magic" to happen in your daily life!!!!
