Heres a freind of mines tek for the layperson.. For an 100gs of mimosa prepowdered extraction, this is what youll need...
Caustic soda - (100% Sodium hydroxide) Any diy store will have it, its drain cleaner, b and q have it for about £2.5
1litre Glass Jar - Morrisons Sauercraut jar is what i use! lol
Medicine dropper,turkey baster, pipette- youll need to be delicate with it so the smaller and easier to use the better. I use a pipette that i came across in a garden centre, you can get an eye dropper from any chemist.
1.5l or more of deionised water or distilled water - I found this in Tescos, in the car section its used to put in car radiators. Tap water doesnt realy work.
Swan lighter fluid or zippo is known to work too as is ronsonol. Evaporate a little bit off on a plate first to make sure no nasty residue is left, i find swan is clean and works well.
wooden spoon - for stirring .
Small rounded glass jar (dowe egburts are good)
Gloves also.
The tek
1.Fill the jar with about 750 - 800ml of deionised water
2. slowly add 8 tablespoons of caustic soda and stir gently
leave it to react for 15mins or so, it will get hot but dont be alarmed! You might be a bit nervy at first as i was but after youve done it once its easy.
3.Slowly add the mimosa powder bit by bit and stir gently, stir well into the solution, the whole mix should become black and sludgey, the blacker the better it means its hit the right pH that the dmt needs to be at. Levae it to react for 30mins to an hour. Be careful now as the mix is very caustic and would burn to touch. Have some vinegar at hand in case spills need neutralising.
4. Add 200ml of swan lighter fluid and close the lid tightly on the jar. roll this around, tip it up, but dont shake it vigorously it can cause problems later. Do this a few times.
5. Leave to settle for an hour or so. There may be a build up of gas so leave the lid slightly undone to vent excess gas. Id wrap a tshirt round your face at this point as the fumes will start affecting you, they did me anyway, was pretty high at one point lol
6. Open the lid and you should see that the lighter fluid has risen to the top and formed a layer, this is where the good stuff is now.
7. Siphon off this layer and avoid any black shit you only want the clear fluid, this is the tricky part but once youve had a bit of practise it becomes alot easier. Siphon it off into the other small jar you have.
8. Once most is syphoned off you can close the mix jars lid.
9. CLose he lid tight to avoid any moisture getting in and put the small jar into the freezer. Leave it in there for 12 hours or so.
10. After 12 hours take the small jar out you should see the crystals stuck to sides and bottom of the jar. Now pour off the fluid carefully into the main jar again.
11.Scrape out the crystals onto a plate to dry, leave them out for a few days but cover them with a bowl or something to stop crap from the air sticking to it. You could use a fan on low and gently evaporate off the fluid if you wanted to speed things up.
But you could use the wait for preparation for your first blast off!
12. Add another 50-100ml of fluid into the MAIN jar and repeat steps 4-11. You can do this 3 times in total to get the most out of it, any more and you start to extract other oils and crap you dont want.
