So can you conclude what is the best Preparation Method that brings the best effects out of it and what time it should be consumed?
I love Amanita but am trying to figure out the best way to have a good experience
Definitely not! My knowledge of amanita is way too limited to make any conclusions about the ideal prep methods to elicit the best effects. All that I can speak to is what has worked for me.
Last night, I drank a tea of 1g dried amanitas, steeped in hot water for around 15 minutes, and proceeded to sleep, on and off, for the next 12 hours, with vivid and surreal dreams.
I’m starting to think that 500mg might be a better dose for me, as the 1g dose felt a bit heavy, and made it even more difficult to get out of bed than it usually is for me.
Having said that, the extra-long, amanita-fueled sleep left me feeling well-rested and refreshed, with a clearer mind, and a brighter mood, as though a therapeutic process had taken place, which I presume had been the case.
I’m interested in the idea of doing the “lemon tek” on amanitas by letting the mushrooms soak in lemon juice before steeping in hot water. I might give that a try, in the near future, and can report back if I experience anything noteworthy.
