So my last and only ayahuasca experiance was very mild and slightly stoning but not at all a true ayahuasca experience. I have a good bit of acacia confusa root bark powder left but I have no scale I read that 1.5 tablespoons is a lot and on my last brew I used 2 tablespoons yet it still was more like a level one mushroom trip than anything.
I am going to try my luck again this time using lemon juice concentrate with the water and not being impatient. On my last brew I boiled it with just water, no acid at all, I did it for 30 minutes and did 3 pulls, I used one cup of water for each pull and I boiled it. This time I am going to simmer it for 45 minutes each and not bring it to a full boil (i'm worried I burnt the active chemicals last time). I also ate half a tablespoon of syrian rue 30 minutes prior to drinking the aya I read that was the correct dose this time I will eat a full tablespoon to insure my success. I also used two egg whites last time, this time I will use one i'm not sure if the whites absorbed some of the actives.
Any advice is good advice I just would really like this to work out so if you spotted what I did wrong last time let me know. Im hoping it was just that I used straight water with no acidic stuff at all I did that because I hate vinegar and drinking it would suck but I read lemon concentrate works fine however I don't know the right amount to add so im just going to add one third of the bottle one for each simmer. Also can I add sugar the tea was not very pleasant and I figure sugar will help.
