Plato said:We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when (grown) men are afraid of the light....

08:34:38 ‹nathyogi›The Lord's Prayer Translated from Aramaic into English (rather than from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English "O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration, soften the ground of our being, and carve out a space within us where Your Presence can abide. Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit of Your mission. Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire. Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish. Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us, as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes. Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose, but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment. For You are the round and the fruitful vision, the birth-power and fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again."
Hermes Trismegistus said:“If then you do not make yourself equal to God, you cannot apprehend God; for like is known by like.
Leap clear of all that is corporeal, and make yourself grown to a like expanse with that greatness which is beyond all measure; rise above all time and become eternal; then you will apprehend God. Think that for you too nothing is impossible; deem that you too are immortal, and that you are able to grasp all things in your thought, to know every craft and science; find your home in the haunts of every living creature; make yourself higher than all heights and lower than all depths; bring together in yourself all opposites of quality, heat and cold, dryness and fluidity; think that you are everywhere at once, on land, at sea, in heaven; think that you are not yet begotten, that you are in the womb, that you are young, that you are old, that you have died, that you are in the world beyond the grave; grasp in your thought all of this at once, all times and places, all substances and qualities and magnitudes together; then you can apprehend God.
But if you shut up your soul in your body, and abase yourself, and say “I know nothing, I can do nothing; I am afraid of earth and sea, I cannot mount to heaven; I know not what I was, nor what I shall be,” then what have you to do with God?”
Sadhguru said:I don't know how to add pluses and minuses to me when I dont exist as a person.
Your experience of life, whether you experience joy or misery, it happens from within you.
What happens within you must be determined by you.
If you are miserable what it means is, even what happens within you is enslaved to something around you and people think its normal. Its not normal, its just insane.
Both misery and joy happening from within you.
Your body is not taking instructions from you,
Your mind is not taking instructions from you,
Your emotions are not taking instructions from you,
Nothing in this is taking instructions from you.
As we look closer at life, its just exploding into wonder
I am not really a person, thats my problem.
I can in any given moment I will just make myself as it is necessary for that situation.
Your whole experience of life is limited to the physical form that you are.
As a physical form what are you in this cosmos tell me.
In your home you maybe something, on the street - not much, in the town - nothing.
In the cosmos you are not even a speck of dust;
As a physical existence you are really nothing
Whats happening in your mind is your making.
Journey from being a piece of creation to being the creator.
