Agreed, I was about to post this and I saw you got it first...that "explosion" is many hundreds (thousands?) times the size of the Earth.

And this is exactly why we need an ozone layer.
Imagine the billions of tonnes of matter, ions and other radioactive particles and rays which just got kicked off by that fucker!!!
