Think I totally screwed up Cyb's hybrid extraction

Was just in forum and saw someone said they got .8 gram from 50 gram extraction. I did my extraction well over a year ago, and never tried. I am pretty sure I got 7 grams from 100 grams of MHRB. Is that even possible? What should I do to try and recover it properly. It is yellowish powder, stored in freezer. I think I have heptane in a bin somewhere, but in about a month it lost 1 inch from never opened bottle, so might not have been in proper bottle.

HMMM yeah something is up. Generally, a 1% yield is good. Yours in 7%. And I've never heard of that. The best I've ever come across is slightly over 2%. That's usually from high quality rootbark that has been harvested at the prime time of year.

Try recrystalizing as described in your other thread. You may need closer to 40ml of solvent.

Could that extra weight be waxes and other alkaloids that are safe?

Now I am wondering if I did 2 100 gram batches.

What are chances of salt or lye being in it (or any other chemicals from procedure.

If I recall correctly, it said to use solution saturated with salt, and I went overboard and ran through filter, which would give maximum saturation. I hope I am not confusing with syrian rue seed extraction which was major pain in the butt, and took forever. Found out afterwards you can legally buy harmine and harmaline, probably for less than the cost of making it yourself.

Definitely possible. Some solvents are more selective than others. Are you sure it was heptane? And depending on other factors, it could be that there are other alkaloids and potentially plant fats.

The chances are there, but if you followed the procedure correctly and hadn't siphoned any plant matter off, the chances are low.

While that's true, I still extract from caapi. My own extracted products have more meaning for me

Solvent was naphtha. Never used the heptane which I was going to use to purify, but was very concerned about it, since in a sealed plastic bottle, it was evaporating away. Lost 2 inches in about a month, and worried the seller did not know what they were doing, so maybe bottle was not compatible and leeching poisons into it.

I just looked for the heptane bottle and must be buried in bins from when I moved. The naphtha was VM&P from Kleenstrip.

I will have to search articles to find a way to recover. Was hoping for something with an emulsion layer to be discarded. All I found so far is SWIM's which said to add a few drops of heptane and pour off, which will not deal with the quantity of possible impurities, and sounds like you could easily pour of the good stuff.

It was ne wo did 0.7 gram from 50 gram mhrb. 5 years ago i die an Extraction from 50 acrb and got around 0.5 Gramm of Spice.

My acrb was Really xtal like, nur i didnt smoke it corectly and so wasted it. The actual Extraction is more gooey, if i Take a look in it One das later it looks like The Spice Shown in cybs Tek. A yellowreddish powder. Im Not so familiär with Extractions but it isnt so difficult in my Opinion. Ne i smoke my actual Spice with my mighty, i geh a Really nice Trip dich lästig 10 minutes maybe. Breakthrough was Not possible, im Not Sure maybe it was. I didnt expect such an intense Trip from One Inhalation. What about you extreme? So you Feel anything if you Take One hit?

Re: purification. Look into doing a mini A/B. 7g is way too much even for 2 lots of perfect 100g extractions - unless you maybe even did 3, seeing as you are uncertain.

Found my heptane which I never used. Quart plastic bottle, and 1 inch left in it, and it is collapsed partially. Is it OK to buy heptane in plastic bottle or should it be in glass or metal?
