It reminds me of those videos where they are smoking pot and run over the girl on the bike, or smoking pot and the kid shoots himself with a gun. They just are not needed. They poke fun at something that the majority of people don't truly understand, and they watch this video and even though they laugh it still gets put in their subconscious.

Why do you guys feel the need to get so polarized over what I think we can all recognize to be small potatoes? Giver of will, you posted a video you found to be funny with the community. The community is made up of free thinkers. Why not allow these people to view/interpret this joke as it is, without your defending it? Is the joke not strong enough to stand on its own merits?

To the rest: People have different senses of humor; no need getting bent out of shape trying to ascribe your own funnybone to others. If you liked it great, if you didn't great; recently it seems as though people here are using any pretext to make snotty remarks about/towards each other...Where's the love? I'm not defending this video, If you dont like it I dont care, some people thought it was funny, cool. That was the reason I posted it, I knew not everyone would enjoy it. I am not trying to tell everyone here what is funny and whats not. The only thing I am defending against is bullshit remarks about how this video "gives a bad name to tripping". Come on, its a video. You can say that you dont think its funny, I dont care. It just annoys me when someone acts like my post "degraded" the way people feel about tripping.

There is no need to defend this...Imo, it's not even possible to defend this. If you are someone who finds this video to offend your sensibilities/beliefs/values about tripping, then that's all that there is to it; it's offensive, the end. You can't defend this position because it's a personal preference. This video didn't offend you, we get it, you think it's funny, we get it. Others found it offensive, we get it, they don't think it's funny, we get it.

There is no reconciling these positions any more than reconciling the beliefs/values of the Black Panther party and the Ku Klux Klan; they are inherently different. The ideology presented in the video presents a certain outlook/commentary on tripping; some agree with it/find it funny, some disagree with it/find it offensive. No need to explain to anyone why your views are right; they're your views and that is enough. Things you view as BS may be meaningful to others and vice versa...no need to defend the video, it stands as it is, nothing you say can/will change that. Do you see what I'm getting at?

Yes I understand where you are coming from. Its like arguing religion. I guess I just felt as if I was being scolded for trying to entertain some people by showing that video (i was flagged?) so I kinda went on the defensive side. Not trying to start any arguments.
