A story unlike other stories... abyssal, vast, uncharted... beyond anything you could imagine... and, such as this thread, it seems to never end.. Vote for kikkers glory!!!
 
It never ends because eventually we cross the manifold of entanglement and reach the beginning so all posts will repeat, infinitesimally transformed.

Language is also a dynamic creative entity defined by its usage in the given moment but according to rules of tradition in order to sustain shared understanding. Thus we are able to talk about new things and ideas despite using the formal constraints that maintain the structure of meaning within a given language.

Buuuut... at some (theoretical) point we would run out of valid permutations of the phoneme set. This would take an astonishingly long time, however, and given the historical precedent that phonemes and entire words get repurposed for temporo-local pertinence accompanied by, essentially, the death of the preceding meaning we can see that understanding of any given sound set also evolves.

Thus the snake never quite succeeds in devouring its own tail.
