Just returned from an adventure in the north woods of New England.
Its an extreme remote environment on a large lake far from human activity.
My friend and I were doing a music project and trying to basically survive in a cabin for 5 days.
I have been coming here off an on for 25 years.

At a few points we partook in some vaped spice and both shared a strange experience.
Old entity things with a dirt tree root feelings. We were both getting a similar thing.
It , they had earthy textures different from anything I ever get in my home state .
I have gotten this here before , it seems unique to this place. The feeling is of a very old creature its dark in earthy tones with subtle splashes of color. The patterns are extremely intricate and complex. the textured surface
felt like sand done in relief. The forest here is ancient and has remained somewhat unchanged for thousands of years. The entity moves slowly out of the darkness like an old eel rousted from a hole coming in to investigate.

This is something I only get here have never gotten anywhere else.
I've begun to wonder lately if location has anything to do with what we experience.
Is it the Gaian mind of the plants unique to specific areas of our planet represented in the entities we experience? the plant tree internet ?
Or is it our personal state of mind unique to where we are at any given moment influencing our experience?

these ideas are provocative no matter how you look at it. The fact that both of us were sharing a similar experience is interesting.

Ime, DMT tends to weave the experience out of the immediacy of my environment - both internal and external; to some degree. Sometimes, but more times than not, a breakthrough for me lends itself to not mattering whether it's in my room or in the forests; eyes open or closed - they're literally one n' the same.

And the specific content of a breakthrough/etc is so variable; it's hard for me to draw any sort of ideas/notions.

I to have had this curiosity.. It's very interesting.
It could be any possibility, for all we "know".
Could just be our different conscious thought in a new environment,
Yet it could be a different realm/spirit world location.

But definitely something I've wondered myself.
Nice post.

This is something that I have felt on mushrooms. Within dirt and tree roots specifically, I have felt special types of entities. They are the "natural" ones as you describe.

But on DMT, I always feel as if I am jetted away from my current environment. Factors in my physical and mental environment (set and setting) of course play a role in the trip, but when I'm out there, all that matters is that I am somewhere rather than nowhere.

The term Genius Loci comes to mind for me.

Though, no one can know for sure if its possible for a place to actually Have its own spirits/Entities. Many ancient people around the world held the idea to be true.
