Too Much Naphtha? Now what...

So in KemFun's Tek (using MHRB) after the soup finished being in the hot bath, it states to add naphtha. My question is what if you accidentally added double the amount of that Naphtha? Is the whole thing ruined? Yeah I'm sure it is a waste of Naphtha could you potentially evaporate it? HELP!

The solution is not separating quickly at all...

Do a mini acid/base. You need to wait for them to separate then add the naphtha to vinegar. This will pull the alkaloids to the water layer (vinegar) then base again with lye and pull with appropriate amount of naptha.

If after a couple hours the two phases don't separate you can add more lye OR add salt to help separate the layers.

Nothing has been ruined by adding too much nps, as far as I am aware. I'm not sure about it taking longer to separate, but I can't read the Reddit page, so I'm not sure whether the tec is stb or acid-base. If it's stb then maybe all the bark in the soup is causing this emulsion.
As far as I'm aware, the only issue here is that the NPS will have a much lower concentration of dmt, and so you won't have so much precipitating out when freezing.
Don't sweat it, and don't waste all the nps evaping. I never purposely evap any solvent, just keep it and use for the next pull.
