I don't see how it's hard to believe that someone would consume a drug with very little research In excess amounts. People consume alcohol in excess amounts knowing full well that they won't be able to drive and yet do so anyways. Now I know nothing of this drug, I cannot have an opinion as to how much is too much or how it would effect an individual in these amounts as far as toxicity or memory recall or anything.
But many many many people do exactly this kind of thing all the time. In my younger and dumber days I took liquid LSD with a group of friends with no knowledge whatsoever what I was doing. I took an equivalent of ~15 hits over a period of time thinking maybe it was weak cause not much happened at first. I heavily believe what I took was not infact LSD at all. It was a weak experience.
My friend ended up selling what was left to a kid that night. That kid had no idea why it was and took it all while he was alone. No idea how much he took but he destroyed his apartment and caused much injury to himself.
At the nexus we expect pretty high standards from others, and for a good reason. But a lot of people aren't used to this level of standards and its up to us to teach others how to go about proper drug use. No one else is going to do it and its kind of a motto around here.
I do agree however that the OP seems fishy. Something doesn't seem right about it. Not sure how I feel about whether its a true story or not.
