..hi all, to add to Major Tom's comments on internal plant synthesis of medicinal compounds, below are a couple of images of the enzyme N-methyl transferase which is in plants and animals and helps make tryptamines..it's sometimes rather confusingly called 'nmt', but should not be confused with N-methyl-tryptamine (NMT), although it's involved with it. Not even the fastest super-computers can calculate the forms and structural transformations some enzymes can do in nano-seconds..this relates also to my mention of 'why do crystals have certain form?'..and new findings about how the immune system 'pre-empts' incoming, even it's it's not known to Earth! (too off-topic methinks for here
)
