unintegrating naptha?

Hi all SWIM is most of the way through what he would describe as a pretty smooth first try at extract. except in one of this jugs the naptha, (several pulls worth all left in) wont mix in with the basified stuff no matter how much i tilt and roll it i can see little yellowy sparkles in the naptha that werent there before so i dont think its entirely failed, but it just seems to not wanna do another agitation, it doesnt look like its formed an emulsions as the naptha is clearly visible on top and moves freely has anyone had this happen to them?

I dont understand your question.. the naphtha should NOT "mix" with the basified stuff, it should always rise to the top.. so you have to stir/roll/mix well many times and every time you stop moving it should start going to the top, so thats the right thing..

I dont understand what the 'yellowy sparkles' are..

sorry i didnt make it clear, its not that the naptha doesnt stay in the basified layer
its that there is no period between mixing and the naptha going to the top
the naptha just seems to sit on top of the basified layer,
so is that ok?
uhh SWIM is not too sure what they are either, SWIM saw pictures of yellowy looking spice,
so im kinda hoping thats what they are..

SWIM just puts a lid on his mix and shakes the shit out of it every now and again and then leaves it to separate before pulling. If it doesn't separate to good he would add more lye or salt to aid in layer separation.
