using DMT extraction teks on various other plants?

Im not very knowledgeable when it comes to chemistry but i have enough understanding of it to understand most of the DMT teks. I have been looking a lot into various hallucinogenic plants like sinicuichi and coleus which dont have a whole lot of information online as far as extractions and experiences go. Im wondering if using a DMT tek on these plants would yield similar results. If not how might I get the active chemicals out?
