Swim was searching for the alternative to lye, because it's very hard to get in the area where he lives.
He found out that drain pipe cleaner has NaOH, so he decided to write a "conspirated" letter to the manufacture asking what are the other parts of the cleaner.
Nobody answered.. Swim's sure that it also contains some lemon aroma (perhaps it could be evaporated by baking it abit in oven)
What about sodium hypochlorite? Cleaner doesn't smell chlorine and looks like real lye (it's granulated)
what would happen if hypochlorite is added? will it spoil the whole extraction and go to np solvent?
