vacuum distill xylene

my question is about jungle.
can it be vacuum distilled.
if it can why is this if it can not be plain distilled,is it because jungle vap point is is not changed radically because of a vacuum but the xlyene has changed its vap point allowing it to come over sooner uder vacuum?
and what damage could the xylene fumes do do a vane vacuum pump?
and whats the best vacuum traps to catch the fumes?

yes, it can be vac distilled with deep enough vac.
xylene won't affect the vanes, which are typically PEEK or PTFE, of an RV pump.
a foreline trap is typically used, though I've heard of bubblers filled with mineral oil also being used, not sure how that works

and you don't need to SWIM, nobody's gonna tell

do not no size of my own molecular sieve yet.
