Vaporised DMT plasma levels

Hello, I'm looking for any articles that have measured blood plasma concentration of DMT after inhalation of vapourised DMT.

Does anyone know of any?

There’s non to my knowledge, vaporized DMT is not as wel researched, there is data on DMT concentration in blood (not plasma, but assuming that this is what you mean) in IV as well as IM studies, as in oral preparations, usually as an methabolic marker.

So if you are specifically looking for plasma levels you’re out of luck, blood DMT concentration is well studied and you should have no problem finding many papers on the subject, though usually not as primary outcome.

The concentration seems to be measured in blood plasma in most DMT studies I've looked at, ie after the blood sample is centrifuged to remove the red blood cells.

I wonder if blood plasma levels after vaporisation have been studied in any other tryptamines, e.g. 5-MeO-DMT.

Maybe it’s my language skills but to me your sentence can be read as your looking for data that is on measuring the amount of plasma itself, not the DMT concentration in plasma.

Here again 😁 I read something else.

I think it should be:
I wonder whether concentrations of other tryptamines in blood plasma after vaporisation have been studied, for instance 5-MeO-DMT.

Anyway in my reading list I found two papers that discuss inhalation of DMT:

Your second question see pdf.

Yes, blood plasma concentrations of drug.

I wonder if we could reason that if blood plasma concentration of 5- MeO-DMT had a certain relative efficiency compared to IV that DMT might be similar.

Unfortunately in the pdf they measured blood plasma concentrations an hour after inhalation but not soon after to see what the peak was. I think they only did it to show it was cleared from the system.

I think bioavailability of the vapour is the term in looking for.
