If DMT were placed in a vaporizer that only went down to 200 degrees F, would it waste all the DMT or yield results?

Well the DMT should vaporize fine at that temperature. But you will need some way to catch the liquid as it melts since vaporizors are generally designed for solid matter. Also, the smell of DMT is likely to linger in the vaporizor from now on....

Generally you use some herb when smoking spice to "catch" the DMT as it melts.

The vapor genie heats up to 225-375 and many believe it's ideal for spice.

"The Machine" can be constructed in many simple ways and can protect the product from the naked flame and allow for adequate temperature control and distribution. Some say it can be harsh, others say not so much, but it can also be used in conjunction with a bubbler, which is preferrable to a number of experienced members here (whether with a machine or otherwise). SWIM feels that automatic electric vaporizers would likely complicate the experience much more than necessary, but it would probably depend on the style of device and manner of use.

I 2nd that amor. I'm building the bubbler stem for my next batch.

I've also designed a new style of machine that has worked really well for everyone I've let try it so far. I'll be sure to post a step by step on how to construct it soon
