Hello everyone!

I've been doing a fair amount of research on the forum looking into previous attempts at mixing DMT with a PG/VG mixture and vaping with mods. From the searches I've read so far, It doesn't appear that there has ever actually been any conclusive results!

Some folks have success without a liquid mixture using only Ceramic Donuts and batteries like the yocan evolve plus.

Some folks have had success with just using standard 1ml ccell cartridges and cheap variable voltage 400mah batteries

Some folks have had success with using TC mods with sub-ohm tanks

And some people haven't had success with any!

What suggestions/tips/stories do you all have from personal experience? Has anyone had any consistently good setups they would like to share?

theres a ton of into out there on this subject.

Far more from a quick google search.

Eliquid carts can be successful, as well as nails for pure freebase such as sourcevapes (though this method may not be preferable for many). If you go liquid, it can be variable in reliability, and many users report inability to break through after the first few hits on a fill

I definitely came across that page as well! I've looked thoroughly through reddit and dmt nexus but was still hoping to hear more! Lots of these results I found were also fairly old and technology as well as products around has certainly changed.

Thanks for the reply. :)

There are also other threads in relation to non juice atomizers.

My go to now, for every such substance, is e-mesh vaping. Take a SS316 mesh, mount it to your mod and use it in TC mode. Basically similar like conventional foil vaping, but with perfect temp control over the whole mesh and evaporation on both sides at once. Like that you can easily take even 100mg+ tokes within a few seconds, without burning anything (surface is everything, when vaping IMHO, as substances usually just don't like to be exposed to longer times of heat). I recommend about 2mg/cm2 (less is better). Don't go over 5mg/cm2

Buy some SS316 mesh band... Then use any old atomizer base, with screw terminals (e.g. I use the base of a DT V3). Then fold the ends of the foil so, that it's "wire like", so that you can screw it on this base (actually a base for mesh vaping makes it a bit easier, e.g. like the Vandyvape mesh ones). And Voila, you have yourself a TC mesh for vaping stuff...It' obvious, that the bigger you make the surface, the more power your mod needs... (but e.g. something as a 2x10cm mesh, still easily works nicely on my one battery mod).

The mesh stripes you use should be the same width throughout. Otherwise there would be temp differences due to different resistances. But if you fold it in width doesn't make any difference, as still the same metal cross section is there.

Melt the substance into the mesh on low temp (leave about 2cm distance to the electric connectors so that the substance doesn't creep in there), then set evap temp and go...

Also, as substances always have the tendency to run to the deepest point and collect there: Hold your device with you electric connectors being on the highest point.

As soon as it creeps into the connection terminals, you're screwed, as it will totally kill a proper TC functioning anymore.

The IMHO good points about this tek:

Giant evaporation surface (it evaps on both sides of the mesh), extremely fast heat up and cool down time (as almost no thermal mass) and completely even controlled temp over the whole surface (no burning of substance).

You only use quite low heat for evaporation (compared to other solutions), to prevent burning, but as you have a big ass surface, you still get a gigantic vapor production rate.

Ah, and although obvious: When you have mounted your mesh, first set to like 200C or more and go. The SS mesh will give off some nasty SS fumes. But now, it's passivated, and you can use it.

Well at least 100 to 150, as otherwise the resistance is too low (at least for my mod).

You can either use the established SS316 mesh rolls from Vandyvape or from Digiflavor. But these are quite narrow (the Digiflavor even narrower). Otherwise you can take any industrial SS316 mesh, just your final resistance has to be watched.

Technically it should work with any mod in TC. But some mods have a problem as there's so little heat mass involved and therefore it may report a "dry coil"...

If both are not working for you, then the problems is gone, if you chose a lower wattage. But then heat up times and evap times increase.

But many mods you can flash with arcticfox.
