So i've has read before that one can use a variable temperature heat gun, used to remove paint among countless other things, to vaporize the Salvorinin in salvia. The gun I specifically purchased is by Eastwood, called the Heat Pro Deluxe. It can produce heat at 60 degrees Celsius, which is coincidentally the boiling point of DMT. Think it would be possible for SWIM to make a concentrated solution of phalaris grass, soak it in some herbs, and set the gun to 140 F and take a nice icy rip from a bong?

SWIM has read that the boiling point of gramine is significantly higher than that of DMT and so a controlled temperature produced by a variable heat gun could certainly sidestep the dangers of gramine poisoning as far as smoking spice goes.

It does sound dangerous to me, I personally wouldn't want a heat gun near me when smoking dmt... but danger aside, it is an interesting idea for eliminating gramine from the equation.

good point :P but 140 degrees shouldnt be too bad on the skin, in the case anything unfortunate did happen with it

60c is not dmt's boiling point, shulgin already commented on this error.... It is most certainly above 100c. Benz claimed it to be 320c according to some calculation. I dont think there are experimental measures (it might also vary a bit depending on crystallization).

I've quickly found that the boiling point of gramine is actually significantly lower than that of dmt. ah well
