Nah, life was just better back then. It has nothing to do with aging or anything. We can only compare specific facts. There were no homeless people on the streets, the cities didn't look like some third-world pit hole, and music and cars were pieces of art. Dude, it's just an absolute fact that it was like this.Idk if it's some sort of midlife crisis but I've been thinking a lot lately about how much fun it was back in the day. Social media to me is boring.
I don't agree with you because 1910-1950 were horrible times, and I wouldn't want to have been born during that period. And my granny said these times really sucks and she didn't like it. But now it really sucks too. The 80s and 90s were the best mix of freedom and common sense overall, and the quality of life was much higher. We didn't need to live in debt to have a normal life. My dad bought a house in two years of working as a factory worker and just saving money. He bought a great house for his family with no debt at all. Some of your internal response is part of aging as well. Things don't seem so novel anymore, and so new stuff just seems... dumb.
Every generation does this with regard to every younger generation since the ancient times.
One love
Today, people take out mortgages for 30 years. It's insane. Dude, these are just facts, nothing made up out of thin air, and it has nothing to do with aging.
The younger generation doesn't know how good it was.
AI is just a mess that gonna derail people's lives even more than porn and crappy movies did.
