VG dosing recommendation?

Hey guys.

I recently brewed my first batch of dmt which resulted in a 1 gram yield. My intention was to mix that with about 4ml of a VG/PG blend. Anyway due to concerns about possible contamination I decided to recrystalize it. The drop in yield was rather sickening though. I went from 1 gram of yellow powder with a bit of spice to 300mg of sparkley white crystals.


Now I'm at a loss on how much Liquid I should mix this with. I usually prefer 4-5 hit breakthroughs. Is refined dmt going to be more potent than unrefined? I would of though so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to lose what little I have left by under dosing it lol.

first: I bet a lot of the missing 700mg are actually DMT, so try to recover them by evaporating the solvent you used for re-x.

In the past I used to mix my DMT 1:1 with plain PG/VG liquid. If necessary apply some moderate heat to help dissolving everything.
So in the end I had DMT:VGG 2:1:1
You might want to add a tiny tiny bit of pure menthol.

I recommend that liquid for some easy vaping to go, maybe with a pen and cartridge or an RTA, not for breakthrough sessions.

For serious breakthrough sessions I'm using now the VandyVape e-mesh setup. For easy dosage dissolve the DMT 1:1 in 96% ethanol and use an insulin-syringe.

I should of gave more detail. I started off doing 2x 50g mhrb extractions which returned just over 500mg of a yellow, powdery product after 4 pulls. Then I decided to go for a larger extraction of 140g mhrb. I reused the pet ether from the previous extractions for my first pull. After freeze precep there were no crystals, just a sticky residue which I scraped. It did have that dmt smell, but I was unsure about it hence the re-x. At this point I had a total of 1.3g product. I warmed up 20ml of pet ether and dropped all of my product in, swirled for a min and decanted, pouring out all of the solvent. I then let it evap next to a window for a few hours. What I got was some pretty nice & clean sparkling formations. I scraped & weighed but to my despair, there was now only 300mg of product.

Prior to brewing my own dmt, I was buying from a guy that dosed at 250mg/ml of unrefined quite yellow dmt. That gave me pretty great visuals at around 5-6 hits in a vape cartridge. What I'm really stuck on is how to dose per ml with my product. I know mine is a purer product than his, so it would stand to reason that I would need less dmt per ml. Or am I completely wrong?
