ive been trying to extract using stb i soaked 50g mhrb in 50g lye 750ml water added some salt a couple days later pourd in lighter fluid warmed it up stirred it let it set for a day stirring periodically sucked up all the lighter fluid put it in a pyrex dish put it in the freezer ive tried this 4 times when i take it out i see what i think are crystals so i pour off the remaining lighter fluid and try to evap the lighter fluid but every time my crystals melt into lighter fluid i let it evaporate all the way but when it evaporates theres nothing left no goo no crystals no crumbs nothing i even tried not pouring it off and let it all evaporate ive tried not heating if up before i seperated it from the base solution as well but still it always evaporates to nothing

If, after doing the pulls, your evaporated naphtha leaves nothing, you probably have bunk bark.

In absence of a more detailed, precise, point-by-point description of exactly what you did at every single stage of the process, it's hard to troubleshoot more exactly than that.

It does sound like you could have done with mixing the naphtha into the bark soup rather more thoroughly, though.

That can happen, but if the DMT is there, there should still be DMT there once the solvent evaporates. No matter if it was dissolved or not.

The crystals you seem to be getting could be ice. Have you checked if there are water droplets at the bottom of your naphtha jar? That would explain it.
