I followed the JimJam Party Tek (Q21Q21's Vinegar/Lime A/B Extraction Tek - DMT-Nexus Wiki) and have been left with this

- Is this fumarate DMT?

My question is: How do i convert it into the waxy chunks?

Reading the posts around here has led me to believe that i its like this due to the MHRB plant oils and i need to dissolve it into hot 99% IPA then put the solution in the freezer and wait for the crystals to form. But i don't understand where the sodium carbonate comes into all of this, and if i need it all.

What you have there looks like DMT-acetate.

One question: Did you do the "Freebasing for Smoking" step already?

Yes, i already evaporated it all. It smells like DMT and not vinegar.

I want to clean it up and get rid of the plant oils to make it less sticky and more manageable, but am unsure as to how to do this.

The tek you link to uses vinegar to salt out the dmt from the d-limonene. In that case you would have DMT-acetate, which is said to be goo. DMT fumarate usually turns into chunky clumps, so I don't think that's what you got. If it's acetate then cautiously heating it can give you freebase, as described in the tek you linked to. There are also other ways, as described in the BLAB tek afaik

If you could explain a bit more as to what you did, which steps you followed and at which part of the extraction this result came out, I think we could give better information.

If you have dmt-fumarate, it does not dissolve in IPA.

I followed every step of the "JimJam Party Tek" from 3.3 to 3.10 using D-Limonene and Calcium hydroxide. What you see in that picture is whats left over after the "Freebasing for Smoking" step. I've sampled the fruits of my labour and it definitely is DMT, its just that as you can see in the photo its very sticky and difficult to handle/ accurately measure.

Fumarate is soluble in warm IPA. But I'm not sure if I have acetate now and am very confused.

I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could help out a fellow traveler.

if you used acetic acid, you have acetate.

if you used fumaric acid, you have fumarate.

you can do a re-x (check the wiki) to clean your product.


i personally recommend keeping the extract oily and using a solvent to transport it into a storage container (tin foil is far from ideal, a darkened glass jar with a dessicant is perfect).

from there you can infuse it into herbs.



also, the reason you are not getting many responses, is that much of this info is common knowledge around these parts, and can be found in previous posts with minimal effort.
