The process of alchemy was traditionally internal as well as external. As I perform my entheogenic extracts I find myself changing. I am much more knowledgeable, focused, efficient, organized, methodical and productive than when I began three months ago. It seems to take me three tries to successfully perform any extract but I have persisted and been rewarded for my efforts.

Which is all a big excuse for this big Duh!

Today I opened my cupboard to find a flask to use and found one with mystery crystals (I think they're crystals) on the bottom. This has to be either LSA, mescaline or DMT. Can anyone tell me what these crystals are? (The solution is odorless and has a pH of about 12, which would rule out LSA)

I am sure that Black goo is not freebase mescaline

The reason I posted the photo is to show that the basic (pH 12) solution can't have mescaline crystals because a) freebase mescaline looks like black tar and b) if SWIM converted the mescaline free base to a salt, the pH should be close to neutral (7).

You just made me read your Links again . None of them Mentions adding a base ,so why should that tar contain any freebase ? Its just a simple ,tarry ,dried up ,tincture extraction , the alkaloids should still be in their plant salt form shouldnt they ? Or do you say cacti contain Freebase alkaloids ?

Imho there are much better ways to extract cactus. and I have seen crystalline Mesc Freebase before , Looked waay different.

Check with TLC man, aldo it looks to be NaOH. I don't think it is DMTDMT

I put the mystery crystals solution into a baking dish and allowed it to evaporate. The next morning there were WAY too many crystals to be the product of any of my extractions so I threw them out....
