Uncle Swimmie took his FASA precipitate, dried it out,noted the yellow sticky consistency, washed it with a very warm sodium carbonate wash and noted a yellowy watery liquid. He then put it in the freezer for 10- 15 minutes, took it out then put fresh naptha over it.
The result was a clumpy mix when put in the freezer again got waterier. In taking it back out to room temperature long shards of clean clear crystals are globbing on the bottom of the beaker. He's drying that out as we speak but what has been created are large shards, not snow globe stuff like it started. He;s poured off the liquid to another container. Are the shards..... it? If so...its quite a bit. He's been sending this stuff from liquid to liquid for a month now.
