What to do with these crystals?

Ok after re-xing my 2nd pull I then let the naptha sit at room temp to crystalize & ended up with just a little over 1.5g of pure DMT crystal.

There is a slight touch of yellow to some of them, there was a little more yellow goo that settled to the bottom after the re-x that the crystals grew in.

I'm thinking about re-xing them again to totally get rid of any yellow color.

But then I'm wondering if I should just leave them in case I lose a lot more this time around?

I should also note that after letting the crystals grow for at least a day, I noticed they stopped growing after I woke up.

So I dumped the naptha in another pint mason & did a freeze precip with it & after 12 hours it is covered in nice white snow.

My question is, if I would have let the crystals grow for days, would it pull all of the DMT out of the naptha eventually, or will a freeze precip always be needed to get every last drop of quality DMT?

Is this mason jar covered or have you left it open enough for it to evap? The naptha would eventualy evap and you will be left with just xtals.

With regards to re-xing to get rid of any color, this is just preference, if you want ultra clear xtals, then yes go ahead, but it sounds like you have done enough to clean it up:)

During the grow period with the naptha I leave the lid on.

Then I dump out the naptha into another jar & freeze the naptha again & let the crystals sticking to the side of the other jar get blown on by a fan to dry. Only took a few hours to dry.

Yeah I mean dont get me wrong, I'm really happy with the end product, 1.5 grams or pure crystal.

There is just yellow gunk in a handful of the dozen or so clusters I have

But if I were to re-x this again for another room temp crystal grow,

How much naptha should I add to the 1.5g of the crystals to re-x it? 60ml?

I should get the entire 1.5g of crystals back again right? (there is only a minimal amount of yellow, so its not going to affect weight much, just look & purity)

60ml sounds about right. You could alow a little opening for the naphtha to evap. That way all the naptha evaps and you will be left with just the DMT.

You wont loose any DMT.

The way I used to do it is to add the naptha a little at a time until it's all dissolved. you want the naptha to be barely at the saturation point. That way when it cools the DMT will fall out.
