Where to acquire Fumaric Acid

I'm experimenting with new healthier ways to sweeten my meals and am interested in trying out this stuff called "fumaric acid." I know it sounds like a bad chemical or something, but it turns out it's in amost every cell of our body (only it's called "fumarate" and it's in the TCA cycle!)

Anyways, does anyone know any kind of store where one can purchase high-quality, food-grade fumaric acid? I would rather not buy it online if possible.

there's no such thing as a bad chemical.

anyway, may want to try a health food store. better yet look for tartaric acid, from a wine making store. not exactly sweet (acids are typically sour), but it is tart

You're going to have to buy it on-line most likely. Fumaric acid is a very rarely used acid and really hard to find.

there's nothing wrong with buying online. it works very well for psoriasis

It's not at all a suspicious purchase. At worst they might think you're brewing wine at home.
