SWIM is interested in the power of crystals and how they might protect and influence any part of the hyperspace experience. I will admit that my knowledge of crystals is very little but any advise on which crystals others may use and have good results would be much appreciated. They way at least I could have an idea of which ones to look into and research to use.

quartz, amethyst, and bismuth are three of my favorites but amber, tigers, eye, and selenite are nice.
also look into orgone generators if your into crystals.
my advice though is to find a crystal store and go and see what catches your fancy, different people are drawn to different crystals.
black tourmaline is also a good grounding crystal that i keep by my root chakra, I usually put selenite on my heart, tigers eye or agate on my third eye, quartz or bismuth on my throat and amethyst on my crown. I like to keep my orgone generator on my navel and will surround myself with other xtals. also meteorites seem to have some cool energy as well. Himalayan salt lamps also have very good energy when tripping.
Also the shape matters, for example xtal balls and pyramid shapes give off different vibes.
If you could elaborate on what type of energy your looking for maybe I could help more, but otherwise try to go a shop that sells crystals and just get what you like.

I just recently got into crystals. I got a huge tibetan quartz and an angels wing selenite. Both I plan on having with me on my next journey. Both are really good sized. Both I were drawn to heavily when I was at the local shop by my house.

I don't have any crystals, I do have a Himalayan salt lamp which is very cool and gives of a nice light but that's it, it doesn't feel special, its just cool
I cant quite believe that crystals do anything other than look cool, however in the last couple of years my view has changed on quite a few "ridiculous" things so im quite open to the fact that im wrong and that crystals may be usefull.
Anyone got any examples of what crystals do for them?

Make of this what you will. but this small article/description is an interesting take on crystals and how they might work, if work at all.
Being that everything is comprised of pattern(s)/energy, this article doesn't seem "too" far fetched.

Thank you all very much for your thoughts and suggestions. I will definitely take them all and go to my local crystal store and see what catches my eye. I am very excited to see how they may make affect any hyperspace journeys.

Orgonite....if you believe that mass produced plastic garbage (epoxy) and industrial waste with (metal shavings) is a good thing to encase your crystals with. Of course you *could* go out into nature and collect pine sap to use as an epoxy alternative. It apparently kicks out a warmer, more balanced energy than epoxy-trash-orgonite.

I wasn't into crystals either until I tried that, it felt like my soul was leaking out where I rubbed the oil, it really is otherworldly (I used it the night I saw aliens with eyes open and traveled to the center of galaxy). Also when I vape dmt with xtals on me I notice a big difference personally, it has to do with focusing your intention into the xtal, different xtals react differently with different thoughts/intentions.

I had an interesting experience with a crystal when I was a budding psychonaut...
I had encountered this elf/gnome-like being in one of my early DMT experiences who seemed quite friendly and happy to see me. Almost like he was an old friend or something. This entity stuck with me more than anything else I saw in that particular experience. Several weeks later, when I was driving across the state to visit my family, I stopped to get gas in a medium-small city about halfway. I was waiting in line to buy a drink or something and this little basket of beads caught my eye. in this little basket, were all these little clay figures holding stones in their arms. On top of the pile, was a figure almost identical to the entity I had encountered in that DMT experience!! Even more incredibly, the stone he held had a remarkable resemblance to the yellowish DMT I was learning how to extract at the time. Needless to say, I bought it and I wear it on a necklace every day! :d
I have a nice cluster of amethyst that I always keep close by when I am venturing into infinity. It is believed to have the ability to protect a person from negative energies/ entities. So far it has worked very well for me. I also use Tibetan Tingsha bells to clear up the energy in the area and around the sacrament before I begin a ritual. Not crystals, but still relevant.
