which solvent do you prefer?

im in california and cant get any naptha so what can replace it most easily and efficently in an STB dmt extraction... ?preferably not something i have to get over the internet but if it has to be done it has to be done.

Michaels Art Supply has Bestine which is Heptane and works good.

methylene chloride, aka dichloromethane or DCM.
if you can't get that in cali, then cali sucks. period.

yeah ive heard of using heptane around the forum i just didnt know if different solvents effected the yield... if it does would u say heptane produces larger or a smaller yield than naptha? or does it really not matter as long as the solvent works.

and what type stores usually carry DCM?

Yield is the same w/ heptane, might just be a bit cleaner.
