I have never found barks to have negative qualities not present in leaf sources. I’d say that is placebo or people are reacting to tannins.
Weed definitely does not hinder oral brews lol.

in my experience alot weed smokers espec heavy ones dont notice the negative effects. if it works for you then go ahead, but in my experience and many many others weed negatively impacts the experience. in the end though its all about your relationship with weed, and alot of people cant have a healthy one ive noticed. alot of weed smokers are all day everyday users, but like i said if it works for you then go ahead.I have never found barks to have negative qualities not present in leaf sources. I’d say be happy you have any DMT plants at all…especially such a potent pure source Iike mimosa. These comparisons are not even relevant ime. Chaliponga warmer than mimosa? Why are we reducing things down to “barks” vs “leaves”? Which barks? Which leaves? I honestly don’t know what people are taking about sometimes but you don’t need a better DMT source than mimosa. Be grateful for mimosa.i spent a few months in the amazon with huni kuin taitas and they told me the same thing. they said bark is fine but in order to properly use them you have to add purgatives to keep out the bark sediment and such. i def can get chacruna or chaliponga, what do you think a good dose of chaliponga would be? i usually sit around 5-6g of mimosa cause i feel anything higher is not needed unless you got weak bark.

daily weed smoking effects your cognitive and emotional depth which will effect your sessions with mimosa. but if you plan on smoking weed its also fine, im just sharing my knowledge and experience since i know its very common for heavy weed smokers to be addicted to the plant. but i go with the rule of thumb as long it serves you in any way it still is good, but id advise to try to not make weed a daily/all day thing.Which negative effects are the ones that weed users don’t notice?
im glad you find good effect from cannabis! if it serves you well then dont feel the need to change it up.I have been using oral brews and pharma for 18 years. I had a 5 or so year period where I had quit weed and still drank the brews. Honestly, I prefer weed in my life…but in relation to pretty much all of these entheogens-I also prefer weed lol.
I find my sessions are deeper, more spacious and potent with cannabis vs without. I literally need less brew. This is all day every day use and it’s medical. I mean real medical use not made up because I want to be high…But still I wanna be high lol and my use predates any diagnosis in my life.
I honestly feel just in terms of its interaction with ayahuasca or mushrooms etc, it’s a welcome bonus.
Tobacco, well that’s one I can do without and does seem to maybe negatively effect the experience…but it is traditional and people do seem to like it. I’m not saying I don’t like tobacco, I just find it far more detrimental in the long term vs cannabis.
Oh, we're all so different and material varies. Your preparation method influences the brew quite a lot too. Recently I moved toward using rainwater and you never get insanely strong brews that way, yet they are somehow more penetrating and balanced. Find chali, cook a batch, and test for potency.what do you think a good dose of chaliponga would be? i usually sit around 5-6g of mimosa cause i feel anything higher is not needed unless you got weak bark.
I feel that's the biggest advantage of mushrooms. Somehow they give a stronger psychological opening than DMT. I'm talking about local liberty caps btw.mushrooms are usually much more difficult for me during the peak of higher doses. They dissolve my sense of self more efficiently and are more risky in regards to paranoia/anxiety/delusions etc for me. Although ironically I enjoyed them more to. I might not be the norm here but there is definitely a lot of individual variation when it comes to this stuff.
Could be your personal physiology too. We're all very different in how we react. Hope people do get it.I have never found barks to have negative qualities not present in leaf sources. I’d say that is placebo or people are reacting to tannins.
I love tobacco much more than cannabis, and my psyche agrees with it more. It's a personal preference once again. Although, you do pay with your lifespan for tobacco use.I’m not saying I don’t like tobacco, I just find it far more detrimental in the long term vs cannabis.
Try it out. Ime, these medicines are far more than just DMT. Like, the purgative components in the leaves are a nature's safety mechanism. You just vomit if it gets too out of hand. Doing the same with mimosa tea or TnT tek would be much harder. I remember many times just dry-heaving without much chance of relief. Pure cold water becomes your best friend in these moments. Nature is the best chemist out here, and some of her creations are better left alone. It's that coca vs. cocaine discussion once again. Although, for any sane individual, the difference should be apparent. I respect all positions, but I stick to what I know and have trust in.This thread is making me wonder if the TnT Vodka TEK would work with Charcruna or Chaliponga and ‘if’ the extract would have different feels?
im very mystical/energetic when it comes to these medicines. i believe the science/new age beliefs around these things arent able to properly explain them. its because these plants arent scientific they're spiritual beings, the more i drink the more i realize this. espec since when i do the traditional way of drinking like i was taught in the amazon i always have a clear blissful session (which i still consider difficult/terror session blissful) but if i try to go the route of "its just a drug" and just consume them and sit around and wait for the effect it always produces effects that are not liked in the slightest. so for me i try to make these all ceremonial, ill chant/whistle, play harmonica or even do dances cause i feel it guides the experience very well, i know not all feel this way but i think these experiences are spiritual by default so we should respect their place in this world as teachers not just "drugs" even though they very much are we should be very respectful and careful with them. i also feel like mimosa+rue def are recreational in the way that most of my sessions i really enjoy them, i dont get the whole thing others sometimes talk about how its not a "recreational" experience i find myself in alot of bliss during my sessions but then again im so used to the brew both traditional yage and mimosa+rue that i dont ever get sick. i find mushroom make me far far more sick then aya/mimosa+rue ever does.Try it out. This is a different discussion. Everything alive and maybe some not alive things are spiritual beings. Everything humans touch and create comes from the earth.its because these plants arent scientific they're spiritual beings,

Other than horrible alcohol, MDMA is the only thing that has made me vomit. When your body realises it was a strong pill on the come up and tries to clear its self, you feel top of the world afterwards. You just vomit if it gets too out of hand.
Well to each their own but it's just another type of extraction. Teas leave out plenty of the plant content to. It's all nature at the end of the day. If the ancient indigenous peoples who discovered this stuff knew a way to isolate it and smoke it I'd be surprised if they didn't utilize that route as well, given the lengths they often went to utilize their immediate environment. Do you have any experience with crystal DMT? What was your experience like?@Jamie01
in my opinion extracts are fine as long as its full spec. im very against isolating the active chemicals personally. each to their own though, i just think its disrespectful towards the plant to isolate it.

on the telly box lately so I can quote "This is some bullshit"
yes, i find it very okay. its just "eye candy" in my opinion it was a game changer when i started mixing dmt with harmala, i personally think dmt alone is a incomplete product and harmalas complete it. of course though this is my opinion and experience so do whatever serves you the best. i just think harmala's really show the true nature of dmt, i do prefer plant brews though i dont really like pharma since it feels to "modern" and robotic while mimosa has very organic feels to it like ill see visions of the jungle and animals like jaguars and serpents, it all comes down to preference though.Do you have any experience with crystal DMT? What was your experience like?
Not really any need to poke fun or make this an argument. It's just different opinions. Though I'm not familiar with the show so maybe I'm missing the point of the referenceI eat all my meals completely deconstructed so as not to disrespect the maker of life
