I did Ron69's mescaline extraction again (3rd time), and like last time I used HCL instead of vinegar.
I used only 4 drops of HCL per 100ml tap water as recommended here which gave me a PH of 3 (before salting the limonene with it). Yet I still get this sticky stuff...
Could this be due to low quality dried cactus (it looked more brown then green)? That's the only explanation I can think of right now because...
This is my 3rd extraction and my 2nd extraction yielded yellowish powder/crumbs with the same HCL to water ratio.
Also I wanted to ask, since this is extracted with HCL and not vinegar, can I still consume this in it's current state or do I have to clean it up for it to be safe?
